Once Price was out of the car, we talked about our game plan. Matt had so many questions and I didn't have all the answers. The primary goal for the trip - North Dakota and Minnesota. Earlier in the day, I talked to a Minnesota friend and it seemed as though we had several Minnesota options. I had also been in touch with a Skydiving Adventures in Luverne, MN. Getting Minnesota wouldn't be hard.

On the other hand, there was only one drop zone in North Dakota - Skydive Fargo. Skydive Fargo is a club run drop zone and they require visiting jumpers to pay a temporary membership fee of $10.00 - not bad. I'd been communicating with them via email and they would be open on Thursday evening. As luck would have it, our friend, Tina, just happened to be visiting her family in Fargo and she would be be meeting us there. Sweet!

I was so bummed that I forgot Cathy Baites! I've been trying to take her to every state with us. I told Matt that I had gotten a similar stuffed animal for Debbie after she broke her ankle and we decided that we'd try to find a friend for Cathy if we saw a Hallmark store along the way.

While we were driving, I checked my email to see if either of the two "extra" drop zones had replied. Once we achieved our primary goals on Thursday, we'd still have one more day to jump. There was a small possibility that we could get South Dakota on Friday morning, but if that fell through I was hoping we'd jump in Nebraska on Friday evening. I'd been trading email messages with Chuck from Lincoln Sport Parachute Club is only 460 miles from Skydive Fargo. He replied to my message.  The pilot was available on Thursday evening, but not on Friday. UGH!  We'd be in North Dakota.  The only way we could get Nebraska would be Saturday morning before we headed home.

At around 9:30, Matt started looking for a place to stay overnight. I wanted to stop driving around 11. Unfortunately, he had problems finding a place. We were approaching the Pittsburgh area and even the "good" hotels had bad reviews. Matt was getting frustrated and we were both getting irritable and tired. Our search put us past Pittsburgh. After multiple phone calls, he found a room at the Park Inn located in Beaver Creek, PA approximately 385 miles from home.

When we checked in to the room, it was after 12:00 PM. Matt got a shower and we went to bed without turning on the television. I'd been in high gear all day and I was really looking forward to a solid night's sleep.
