After a few months of doing accounting work for an old friend (Fred), I had finally saved enough money to buy my own skydiving rig.  Fortunately, Ned gave me an amazing deal on one of his student rigs.  I bought a used Mirage G3, with a Spectre 210 main, a PD reserve, and a Cypress.

The first jump on my rig was a sit fly jump! I was wearing my closed face helmet and my visor fogged up.  I couldn't get it open and it was hard to see the ground. Gloves and my close face helmet were not a good combination!  I had a crappy landing.  GRRRRRRR!
