Today, Matt and I worked on the wedding invitations.  Before we could get started with the printing, we had to decided what we wanted to say inside.

Even though the wedding invitations were going to be sort of fancy, our wedding was going to be super casual - more like a family picnic.  

It took a long time to come up with something clever to say without being entirely too cheesy!

In the end, we said:

Come to our wedding, it's going to be fun! We hope you can join us under the sun.

Look to the sky as our adventure begins, A special day to share with family and friends.

After the ceremony, stay for dinner, drinks and more. Play softball with the Bride and Groom or hang out on the dance floor.

It was tough to get the text aligned properly, but we eventually figured it out and managed to print the inserts for 60 invitations.  

When we were finished with the printing, we did the first step in the assembly process.  I'm happy with how they look so far, but there is still so much left to do!  At least, we are doing this project together!
