First, I went to get new x-rays. The waiting room was packed. This put me in an anti-social mood.

Even though the cast had scoring down the side, the doctor said it was a walking cast. I ditched my crutches Saturday night.
Jim managed everything on Thursday. I'm not sure if he had to drive carpools, but he got up and took care of the kids. He picked up a referral from my primary care physician and managed to get an appointment with the ortho guy.
When I called my mom to tell her about my broken ankle, I was surprised by what she had to say!

When it came time to leave, Rebecca remembered where a pair of crutches were stashed away. They were exactly what I required to get to the car with a little dignity.
