One minute, you feel like you are never going to get to jump and then you notice you are manifested for the next load!

My alarm was set for five.  Although the weather looked questionable, I hopped in the shower and headed for Orange.

To fully understand my commitment to this quest, consider what it takes for me to get to Orange and to jump.

UGHHHHHH! I wanted to scream! She knocked me right off my cloud.

On Friday, my friend had a life altering experience. I won’t elaborate because it’s not my story to tell, but she said she wanted to jump with me!

I asked my friend if she knew where Skydive DeLand was located - it was about 15 minutes from her house!

For some reason, I thought it would be a really good idea to drive Alec (12) to Florida so that he could visit a friend.

When I realized that I loved skydiving and that I wanted to obtain a license, I started to think about the cost of the training, and the cost of purchasing my own equipment.

When I woke up the next morning, I had this feeling (besides a sore throat) of happiness!!!

It was Friday morning, and there were blue skies over Orange. I called the hangar to see if they were jumping. A man answered the phone.
