Our plans were ambitious, but we figured we'd give it a shot!  We set out on the road Wednesday night hoping to wake up near the drop zone in Ohio.

Originally, I was counting Bridge Day as our "West Virginia" drop zone, but it was a beautiful Saturday and we were only 6.5 miles away...

After contacting Skydive Baltimore and Skydive Ocean City, I realized that skydiving in Maryland was going to be a little tricky.

One little state...one super long day!  440 Miles Round Trip - 10 hours and 20 minutes of driving! 

Skydive Carolina is ONLY 347 miles away from our house (roughly 5 hours without traffic), but sometimes...you just want to be pampered!

Our hotel room was awesome and we got a great nights sleep.  We woke up refreshed and ready to hit the road for Tennessee!

I try not to think about the fact that I've already spent nearly four hours of my day in the car - driving up and back to drop Emma off in Northern, VA.  Once I'm home, I try to refocus and think about our next adventure!

Woo hoo...the sky is blue and I'm headed to the DZ!  Can't wait to see my skydiving sisters!
