Sarah & MattOnce I've finished writing about a trip, it's fun to go back and look at it more carefully. On June 30th, we left the Richmond International Airport at 12:56 PM on Delta Flight 5196. It was 11:27 when we landed in Richmond on July 5th.  We were gone less than six full days.

During that time, we visited six drop zones in five states - driving 2,199 miles. If we factor in a speed of 70 miles per hour, we spent 31.41 hours just driving!

According to Air Miles Calculator, we flew 8,189 miles spending over 19 hours on five commercial flights. This doesn't even include the time we spent sitting at various airports or the five skydiving planes we were on!

Looking back, I still can't believe how much we accomplished and everything we saw.  I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to be on this incredible journey with my best friend.

Can't wait to plan our next adventure!
