We left our house at 8:15 AM and managed to make it to my parents house before noon. Our driving time was right around three hours and fifteen minutes. I think it was a record for me!

This year, we had Thanksgiving dinner at the Bowman's Addition Fire Hall. For the first time in ages, all my siblings were in one place! It was a great day. I was especially happy because my oldest son, Alec, was able to join us this year.

My older sister, Ruth, gave Alec an absolutely beautiful baby blanket, hat and jacket for his daughter, Aubrey (due March 20th).Can't wait to see her wearing the adorable hat! Hopefully, she will be able to come to the gathering next year!

There were 30 people this year! I know my mother was happy to have all her children in one place. I am thankful I was able to spend time with my family.
