With all the traveling I have done, I have come to realize that my internal clock refuses to change time zones. The disadvantage - I end up not getting much sleep.  However, on the plus side, it's AWESOME when you want to get up early to get on the road.

Yet again, I was up at the crack of dawn. I got my shower and grabbed some breakfast and woke up Matt.  According to the GPS, Skydive Idaho was less than 3 hours away (168 miles). When we got in the car, we were on track to arrive at 10:10 AM - 20 minutes ahead of schedule.

At some point, we were talking about the time zones. That's when we realized we forgot to factor in the time change going east. Oops! I called the DZ to tell John we'd be arriving at 11:10.  He said they'd be there and it didn't seem like a very big deal - Thank goodness!

Speed SignWhile I was driving, Matt looked for a drop zone in the eastern part of Washington State. He found a place called West Plains Skydiving roughly 5 hours from Skydive Idaho. The website said they were open on Thursdays, Once we were finished in Idaho, we'd call to see if they were jumping.

I love the speed limit signs in Idaho! Zoom, zoom, zoom!
