Josh AKA Papa SmurfOn our first trip to Skydive New England, we didn't get to know any of the locals. This visit was VERY different!

Papa Smurf AKA Josh is an awesome drop zone ambassador. We loved his enthusiasm. Not only did he make arrangements for us to skydive over New Hampshire, he gave us a guided tour of the drop zone and introduced us to the locals.

As luck would have it, the women from Skydive New England were having a Sisters In Skydiving event! I love SIS events!

After we finished our waivers, we went over to manifest and got on the next load. The pilot knew we'd be exiting the Otter over the Skyhaven Airport in Rochester, New Hampshire. It was just before 11 when we took the shuttle out to get on the plane.

Since we were getting out at around 7,000 feet, Matt and I decided to exit together. We were planning to do a head down exit until I realized I wasn't wearing a butt bungie. Whoops! New plan: Kiss Pass!

When we were on jump run, the airport was easy to see.

Before we left the plane, I did the secret skydiver handshake / fist bump with a few of the girls.

I was excited to share the plane with so many new skydiving sisters.

When it was time to exit, Josh followed us out of the plane and swooped by. Check him out!

When I opened, I got a closer look at the airport.

Matt was first to land, I was next, and Josh came in last. Outstanding! We could cross New Hampshire off the list thanks to Josh!

Before we left, Josh took a picture of us together at the sign.

We took off our jumpsuits and stuffed the gear in Josh's car and headed back to Skydive New England. We were one state closer to reaching our goal!
