When I started this project, I wasn't sure which jumps I would summarize, but I knew I wanted to be up to date on the states before I started going to new ones. At first, it felt like I would never be done!  The only thing that made it easier - February sucked!  The weather was horrible and I had a cold for two weeks.  I couldn't jump, but I had fun reliving my skydiving history.

I wasn't sure where to start.  It might have been logical to start in chronological order, but I decided to work backwards.  The most recent jumps were fresh in my mind.  I had a paper trail and I could remember the details of our travel arrangements. The last three years were the easiest!  I found myself going on and on and needed to edit away some of my rambling.

The further back I went, the harder it was.  The entries for the earlier states are less detailed.  I mostly wrote about the skydives and less on our travels.  With my log book and our videos, I could relieve the skydiving portion even if I couldn't remember  the names of the places we stayed.  As I was writing, I would find myself remembering little things.  Some of the interesting people we've met and the things we've seen,

Today, I finished summarizing state 27!  Although I have been to 29 states, I went to Texas and New Jersey without Matt.  Since he has now joined me on my quest, we will go back to those states together.  Now that I have the states up to date, I can tackle a few other things - Reviews - Monumental Jumps, etc.  I still have a bunch to say!  I hope you're not bored yet!
