The drive from Skydive Eloy back to Las Vegas was grueling.  Being in the sun all day, made me tired.  After dinner at Carrabba's in Chandler, AZ, Matt fell asleep.  Watching him sleep, made it harder for me to drive.  I was so happy when he woke up!  We were running low on gas.  I was excited when I came up on a rest stop and spotted a Dunkin Donuts sign.  Perfect!  Donuts and Gas! I don't eat donuts very often, but I do love them.  After I used the ladies room, I went to the Dunkin Donuts counter.

When I didn't see any donuts, I asked the many behnd the counter what types he had.  "We don't have any donuts."  Since this wasn't the response I expected, I said, "You're kidding...right?  Where are they hiding?"  I looked over the counter and around to see where he was keeping the donuts.  "Sorry, we're sold out, but we have some bagels."  This is when it happened.  I had my meltdown.  "What do you mean you doing have any donuts?  This is DUNKIN DONUTS.  You have donuts right your the name.  It's not Dunkin Bagels or Dunkin Coffee.  It's Dunkin Donuts.  Donuts.  I saw your sign. It says Donuts.  That's false advertising.  I want donuts." This is a great example of what happens to me when I get overtired.  Something snaps inside and I become a three year old little girl who feels like crying.  I did not get a donuts.

Back in the car without a donut.  Since we were only planning to do one or two jumps, we didn't have to wake up next to the drop zone.  Skydive Mesquite was about an hour from Las Vegas.  By staying in Las Vegas, we would be able to get a nicer hotel for a lower price.  Matt found a Double Tree near the airport for less than $100.
