Some people get massages, some people do yoga, some people soak in a tub to relieve stress. None of those things work for me.  I don't like people I don't know to touch me, I get fidgety, annoyed and disruptive in yoga class, and the though of soaking in tub makes my skin crawl.  The best PG-13 way for me to relieve stress?  Skydive. Skydiving is my therapy.

When life is stressful, skydiving makes me feel better.  A trip to the drop zone is all I need to "reset" my stress levels.  In January, we visited two new states - Louisiana and Mississippi and we ended the month with a trip to Virginia Skydiving Center. It seemed like we were off to a good start.

When February rolled around, I got a double whammy - horrible weather AND a head cold.  At the beginning of February, I got a cold and missed the ONLY beautiful Saturday in February.  I went with Matt to the drop zone, but couldn't jump.  It was the beginning of a cold that held on for two weeks.  Of course, that didn't matter so much because the weather has been crappy!  In addition to my health and the bad weather, we have had some stressful family matters.

If it doesn't get better soon, I'm might have to try yoga again.  I caused quite a ruckus last time - I wonder if the instructor has lifted the restraining order?
