Our moring schedule is pretty much the same everywhere we go.  I get up early and shower.  Matt showers while I'm at breakfast, I clean up our room then load the car while Matt eats, but today was just a little different.  After I gathered our toiletries and made sure I had everything together, I remembered that my rig needed to be packed. Grrrr!

Since the hotel room was clean and huge, I decided to pack it while I was waiting for Matt.  I wasn't done before he returned, but I was pretty close!  Matt loaded the car while I finished and we in the car by 8:35!

Of course the first order of business was to find a McDonald's so we could get tea.  I just want to add one thing here.  We don't actually drink McDonald's sweet tea.  Lately, I've been ordering unsweetened peach tea, and Matt gets half-cut (half sweet/half unsweetened mixed together).  If you just order regular sweet tea, it's crazy sweet!

Matt was checking his phone, but couldn't find a McDonald's. Oh well. Figuring we'd find one eventually, I started driving.  As we pulled around to the front of the hotel, we saw one right next door!  Apparently, it was brand new because it doesn't even show up on Google Maps!

As we drove toward the drop zone, we talked about Skydive Missouri.  Feisty was very nice and so were the other locals, but we weren't thrilled to see a tandem student that wasn't connected to a TI at 5,000 feet with the door wide open.  Since neither of us know the rules about this sort of thing, I decided to do some research when we were back home.

At 11:15 EST, we stopped in Celelia, KY for gas.  We were only a couple of miles from the DZ!
