When I woke up today, I felt a little better.  I'm slowly recovering from that 3,335 mile drive. I wonder how long it will be until I feel "normal"? I was still mentally and physically exhausted from our trip, but there is no rest for this weary traveler.

My Monday "To Do" list was long. First order of business for the day - the dryer repair. The guys showed up before lunch and started working on it.  While they were here, I started straightening up the house. It's hard to get into the writing groove when people are in the house. Once it was fixed, I tackled our mountain of laundry.

Matt decided to work from home because his stomach was still not 100% better. He took over our office and was on conference calls. I needed to find a new place to work on my website.

Before I left the office, I was thinking about coloring in my map. When I first got the map, I colored in all the states that I had jumped. However, two of the states were states I went to without Matt. When we had over 30 to do, it didn't really matter. Now that we were in the home stretch, it seemed silly to keep using the old map - especially since Matt had given me a brand new one for Mother's Day.

I took the new map out of the sleeve and carried it downstairs to the living room.  I started coloring in the states in the order that I jumped them with Matt.  The order is a little different than the one I'm using for our "official" state count because I wanted to use our wedding jump for Virginia.

OMG..the process took TWO days!  Of course, I took a few breaks and did some other things, but I spent about 15 hours coloring in the map. The end result was pretty awesome.  Check it out!
