Before we could go to bed, there were some chores to be done. The cat box needed to be cleaned, cat water changed out, and the car needed to be unloaded. Plus we both wanted showers. With the exception of a 20 minute nap, I'd been awake for the last 20 plus hours. It was 7 AM when I finally got in bed.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to sleep long because someone rang the door bell at 10:15. I got out of bed and put on some clothes and went to the door. No one was there.  Grrrrr!

I later discovered that it was our neighbor! She was going out of town. When she told me about it, she said as soon as she rang the bell she remembered seeing my Facebook post about getting home at 6:15 and she felt bad about it. Ugh!

Three hours of sleep isn't nearly enough, but we decided to get out of bed. Matt felt pretty good, but he wasn't operating at the same deficient as me.  I felt like a zombie.

Most of the afternoon was spent doing chores and just hanging out. As the day pressed on, we grew increasingly tired. I am certain we could have easily taken a nap, but then our sleep schedule would have been messed up.

There wasn't much in the fridge and I wasn't motivated to go to the grocery store. We decided to have Pot Belly for dinner. I love Pot Belly! When I worked at Spirent, we used to go there for lunch.

At 5:15, it was time to get back in the car to go to Fredericksburg to pick up Price. The traffic on 95 north was horrible.  I set out with plenty of time to get there by 6:30, but my normal 45 minute drive turned into well over an hour and I was late arriving. I was so tired of driving! When Price got in the car, I asked him to drive, but he said no. I really wish he liked driving.

While we were on the way home, Matt went out to pick up dessert. It was nearly 8 when I got home. We settled in to watch a movie and enjoy our yummy cheesecake. It was a great treat after such an intense trip!

After the movie, we went to straight to bed. Hoping for sweet dreams and a no door bells!
