When we left the Skydive Twin Cities, I took out my directions to Skydive Fargo and Matt programmed the GPS - only 260 miles. We were less than 4 hours away and on track to be there around 4:20.  I texted Tina to give her our ETA.

As I drove, Matt pulled up the website for Skydive Fargo. He was worried because the website said they were open on Wednesdays and Fridays, but closed on Thursdays. Since I had been trading emails with Hans, I was confident they'd be open at 5 PM. Eventually, Matt found a calendar that indicated tandems scheduled for 6 PM.

While I was driving, I talked to a few of my friends and continued to be surprised that my Minnesota friend blew us off. I wondered what happened, but I couldn't bring myself to call. I didn't want more hollow words echoing through my mind.  In lieu of focusing on my hurt feelings, I needed to focus on our trip goals. So, this is the last time I will mention it.

As I was driving, I kept spotting hawks sitting on the huge electrical poles along the highway and Matt saw a bald eagle!. It seems as though Minnesota is another corn and soybean state. We saw miles and miles of corn on both sides of the car.

Matt's stomach was bothering him again so we decided to skip lunch and eat some of our car snacks, - granola bars, crackers, etc. I texted Tina to let her know we were running ahead of schedule. She called me back and said she'd met us there. Awesome.

I called to check in on Price.  It seemed as though he was having a good time.  He'd been to the fair and had plans to go to Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center in DC. It sounded like he was having a great visit with his dad.

As we got closer to Skydive Fargo, the road changed over to gravel. We weren't 100% sure where to go at the airport, so we drove down behind a row of hangars and then we saw the Skydive Fargo sign!
