Ugh! The weather was supposed to be okay today, but at 10 AM the ceiling was at 1,500 feet. Grrrrrr!

Over the course of the day, the weather improved somewhat, but on two of my jumps it was raining! On the plus side, my landings were nice even though we didn't have any wind.

When I went up for my 3rd low pass, I asked the pilot to let me out at 3,500 feet so I could try to pack fast enough to get on the load that was turning hot. I landed next to the hangar and rushed inside and I MADE IT! It was an 8 minute pack job. While I was gearing up, Liz (from Newmarket) was kind enough to manifest me.

One of my friends was also trying to make as many jumps as possible, but she had two rigs. Lucky girl! Instead of doing low passes, she was going to full altitude and paying a packer. So, we were both rushing to make the load.

As we were boarding the plane, she said, "I can't jump in this," and went back into the hangar. I was wondering what she meant? It turns out that she felt the prop blast and thought it was a gust. Hilarious!

Wow! It was a light load. There were only six of us on the plane.

Light load

When I landed, I daisy chained my rig because I thought it was the last load, but it wasn't! We ended up getting one more in the air. Yay!

Five jumps for the day - only 12 jumps left before I reach 1,000. Woo hoo!
