Visit with EthanWhen we were getting ready for bed on Friday, Matt said he wanted me to try to get in as many jumps as possible on Saturday and he was willing to pack for me!

We left our house before 7:30 and got to Orange at 8:45. Normally, it's jump, pack, land, but not today! It's just jump and land. I managed to get on loads 2,3,4 & 5! I skipped load 6 and ended up on load 7.

At some point during the day, I got a visit from Ethan and Julie! The Otter became "my plane". It was very nice of me to let my friends come aboard. How adorable? I am so glad they came to the DZ!

While we were at the drop zone, we met Nicole Smith. She's the youngest female to skydive in every state! She's now a rep for Velocity Sports Equipment and a Tandem Instructor. She's a very interesting person and I am happy I got a chance to meet her.

Nicole was traveling with Flora of Tony Suits. The first time I met Flora was at Z-Hills more than 10 years ago. She's blossomed into a beautiful young woman. They will be coming back for the Orange Boogie in August. I'm hoping that we'll be able to get Harry & Betty to come out to the drop zone while Nicole's here. It would be awesome to get a picture of the five of us together.

One of our friends, Brian, lent me his rig so I could get in some extra jumps. I loved his canopy, but his rig was entirely too big for me. The chest strap came up to my neck. Even though I only used it once, it put me on a load that I probably would have missed. Thanks Brian!

Over the course of the day, I met a number of jumpers that were from Delmarva. It was great to see some new faces and a few familiar ones. I introduced myself and gave the ladies SIS socks. Normally, I would have been inviting them to jump with me, but I was on a mission.

I felt bad for Matt! It was 95 degrees and super humid, but he insisted on packing. Before the day was over, he did 12 pack jobs! I only did 11 jumps, but he ended up packing Brian's rig twice!

Even though they were still putting up loads, we left the drop zone around 5. We were both exhausted and hungry. Because my husband is awesome and supportive, I am now only 19 jumps away from 1,000! I love him bunches!
