When we got back to Skydive New England, we packed our rigs. It was a relief to be finished another state.

Even though it was only noon, I was exhausted from the heat and lack of sleep. When I finished packing, I drank two bottles of water!

Josh introduced us to a number of the locals and we took a tour of the private part of the drop zone. It's amazing how many people live there. This drop zone has everything!

While we were there, we enjoyed a yummy lunch from The Ripcord Cafe and I did two Pink Mafia initiation jumps. I was 3 jumps closer to 1,000!

Googles Up

On my second jump, my goggles came off and I spent the entire skydive trying to see. Yikes! On the plus side, I managed to give Jill a Barbie!

Before we left, Matt bought milkshakes from the cafe - just what I needed to tide me over until dinner.

Odometer

When we left the drop zone, we drove back to the Skyhaven Airport and took a few pictures before starting the journey home.

If we drove straight through, we would arrive home at 2:40 AM. It was 615 miles - just over 9 hours. There was NO way that was going to happen. We were both exhausted!

We had pizza for dinner and ended up staying in Manchester, CT. When we woke up in the morning, we were both rested and ready for the trip home. In general, the trip was an easy one. We got home at 5:27 - round trip mileage: 1,294.

We are so very fortunate that Josh was willing to help us with New Hampshire. I hope that someday we are able to jump with him again!
