After we picked up Price from school, we dropped him off in Northern Virginia. For the most part, the drive from Richmond to NOVA was a breeze. We said our goodbyes and set out for New Hampshire.

I can't even bitmojMatt tried to find the best way to get back on the highway or I should say the 495 parking lot. It was at a standstill. We were 512 miles away from the Skyhaven Airport. If there was no traffic, we could get there in less than 8 hours. We should be so lucky!

On the plus side, we were on the way to state #48! We sang, we laughed, stopped at Chick-fil-A for dinner and took turns driving. We weren't sure exactly how long it would take or where we'd end up sleeping. I sent a text update to Josh and confirmed 10 AM at Skyhaven airport.

Even though we were exhausted, we decided to push through and keep driving. I found a Holiday Inn Express in Durham, New Hampshire about 20 minutes away from the airport. Matt had a 5 Hour Energy Drink and I had a Red Bull. New Hampshire...here we come!

By the time I got in bed, it was almost 3 AM!
