Light as Art - Airway Photo From El Paso 411.comOn the way back to the hotel, we got a different perspective on the sculptures along I-10. They were purple! I took pictures, but they were very blurry.

I found this picture on the ElPaso411.com website. It's blurry too because the tall sculptures are wind turbines in motion. This art installation is one of the top five in El Paso. The Equestrian is also on the list!

When we entered the hotel lobby, I asked about check out time. I was thrilled when the desk clerk said 1 PM! We could get up in the morning, go to the DZ and get back with time to shower before check out. Perfect!

Unlike most of our trips, the day was full of activities OTHER THAN DRIVING!!! Breakfast at IHop, skydiving in New Mexico at Skydive El Paso, a long walk, a pedicure, dinner at the Cattle Barron, and a visit to the horse farm. All that and we only drove 100 miles!

Dessert at Marriott HotelBeing at the hotel brought out a hunger inside of me for something I don't normally crave! ROOM SERVICE! Since we had a light lunch, we decided to treat ourselves to dessert. It was a great way to end the day and it wasn't over priced!

By the time we went to bed, I was very relaxed - a hot shower, yummy dessert and a glass of red wine.

Oh...this is important!!! We loved our room because the air conditioner didn't turn on and off AND there weren't a bunch of lights! It was easy to fall asleep.

Looking forward to tomorrow!
