Today, I started working on editing the pictures for the map.  I had 40 of them to crop, re-size, upload, and label. Very time consuming!

While I was working, I called a helicopter place in Rhode Island and asked if they would be willing to put us out of the helicopter over the airport. The woman I spoke with was very nice, but she said she didn't think the would let us do that. I asked her to look at my website and then talk it over with the person in charge and get back to me.  I wonder if I will ever hear from her?

At this rate, it didn't seem like it would be possible to get Rhode Island this weekend or anytime soon.

When Matt came home at lunch, we talked about our options for the weekend. New Jersey, New York, Vermont?  I had to take Price to NOVA in the afternoon, but Matt wouldn't be off work until after 5. It really didn't make sense for me to wait around for him. If we decided to go to New Jersey, we didn't want to be driving on 95 north at 6 PM on the Friday night before a holiday weekend. It would be better to leave first thing Saturday morning. We could talk about it some more when I got home from NOVA.

After lunch, I finished editing the photos of the map. I took Price back to school to meet a few of his teachers.  We left Glen Allen at 2 PM and headed to Springfield to meet his dad. Traffic was heavy, but I made the round trip in 4 1/2 hours.  Not too bad for a Friday night!

We checked the weekend weather for Skydive Sussex and also for Skydive The Ranch. It was going to be absolutely perfect weather for the weekend! Woo hoo!
