Summer Z-Hills is not the same as winter Z-Hills.  There weren't very many fun jumpers around because it was humid and the temperature was quickly approaching 90.  When people wait until the five minute call before they start putting on their gear, you know it's unbearably hot!

Today, I was paired up with Laurie Clark - she worked manifest and was also a coach.  She has such a great positive energy!  Laurie started by looking through my log book and my profiecney card to see what was left. On the first jump, Laurie went with me to work on the CAT G requirements. I was jumping a Wings container with a Navigator 240  Here's the entry from my log book:

6/26/05: Jump 21 - Z-Hills, FL - AFF: CAT G: Forward Motion - Docking - Control Fall Rate Up & Down: Rear float - Exit felt strange. Ck Alt. Practice touch. Flew toward Laurie. Worked on slow & fast fall docking. Did maneuvers until 6,500 feet.  Turned, tracked 100 feet - waved off @ 4,500 pulled @ 4,000. Entered landing pattern. Started final too soon. Nice Soft Landing. Laurie Clark: D-21055 (Laurie said my legs were extended a bit on exit)

When I got back to manifest, Laurie told me she had put me on four more loads!  Let's do this!
